157 NetNewsWire Browser Tabs!
by Jonathan Deutsch

I have made a small update to TabMark per Charles Arthur’s request: an “Open in browser” button which will open the selected links in your default browser. I also added a save item in the File menu, so that if you choose to remove some from the list the new set can be saved back!
Excellent stuff! Now that’s what I call a fast turnaround. You can’t be working hard enough at your proper job!
Ah, noticed something today while trying to get NetNewsWire to stop eating my CPU. (It’s true – I have something of an issue with Ranchero stuff: love it but it really eats cycles.)
Annnnyhow, I thought I’d use TabMark to get rid of the zillion or so tabs that I have open (but not loaded) in NNW.
Except that it doesn’t get rid of them in NNW. At least, not on my one. I was offline at the time; none of the tabs was loaded. Is that what you’d expect?
It should work (best) if NNW is not open. Are you sure you choose save from the file menu when you were done with your removals?
I recently came to the same conclusion about the number of Tabs I had open (139).
TabMark + del.icio.us bookmark import is a great way to save out the tabs I had opened, however I’d have preferred to be able to take all my tabs and instead Flag them in my subscriptions – my new means to remind myself of article to read – have tried a number of time to script this myself but it does not appear possible.
Could you add this as a feature, or perhaps have an example of the code required?
